Illinois State fans will have the opportunity to get a close glimpse of the 2012-2013 Redbird men's and women's basketball teams at the annual Redbird Hoopfest Wednesday, October 17th at 7pm, in Redbird Arena.

The doors will open at 6:30pm and the event is free to the public. The event will feature a three-point shooting contest a dunk contest and inter-squad scrimmages by both teams. In the scrimmages, each team will play against each other for ten minutes. One lucky fan will have a chance to win ten thousand dollars in the 'Money Ball' shot, which will be attempted from half court.
