Last night The X Factor got a bit of surprise star power when Sophie Tweed-Simmons, daughter of Gene Simmons from Kiss and model Shannon Tweed, auditioned for the singing competition.

Filling the shoes of Gene Simmons is one HUGE task (have you seen his boots?)

Sophie said she wanted to audition for the hit show because she wanted to do it on her own...so why did she take her famous mom and dad to the audiitons AND introduce herself using her full name? 

Regardless, I thought she was REALLY good! Hear her audition below, and find out if the judges put her through to the next round...

I don't know if I would have said 'no' with Gene Simmons waiting in the wings...
