Gary Allan is ready to get his new album in your hands. "Set You Free," that latest in-studio efforts from Gary hits stores tomorrow, Tuesday 1/22.

This is Gary's eighth studio album. He co-wrote five of the 12 songs on "Set You Free" and co-produced the project as well. Gary was one of the writers on the first single from the album,  "Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain)." The song has climbed to the #2 spot on the Billboard country singles chart for this week.

Gary, a California native, is very excited and proud of "Set You Free," but a bit nervous as well.

"Anytime you put something out there, it's nerve-wracking, and you just hope somebody likes it, but this is one of my favorite things I've done," says Gary.  "I'm really excited to get this out and see it fester and see what people gravitate towards."

In a short video interview below, Gary talks about the album and recalls writting with legendary Nashville song-writter Harlan Howard years ago.
