Carrie Underwood has scored her 16th #1 single this week as 'Blown Away' hits the top of the country singles charts.

'Blown Away' is the second single and title track off the 'American Idol' winner's latest album. Carrie also named her current tour after the album and song. The 'Blown Away' album as well as single have been certified platinum for sales in excess of one million copies of each.

The single has hit the top spot on the Mediabase 24/7 country singles chart. It's the 16th time a song from Carrie has reached the pinacle of that chart. 'Blown Away' has also hit the 31 spot on the Billboard country singles chart, the 13th time Carrie has topped that chart in her career.

Carrie logged on to her Twitter account to share the the news and her excitemnt posting: "Just got the news that "Blown Away" is #1! So happy! So many thanks to Country radio and my wonderful fans! It's going to be a great day!"
