Heading into the 2013 Grammy Awards, Hunter Hayes had the potential of having the biggest night for country artists as he had three nominations for the year. However, Hunter walked away from the show without a single trophy in his hands.
Carrie Underwood has two trophies to add to her collection including Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song. Both awards for Carrie were for her song "Blown Away."
Little Big Town's mega-summer hit song from last year "Pontoon" continues to win them praise. The song won the group the Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
The Zac Brown Band also took home a trophy for the latest project. "Uncaged" nabbed the Grammy for Best Country Album.
Superstar Taylor Swift appeared to be shut-out of wins for the Grammy Awards based on the television broadcast. However, Taylor was awarded a 2013 Grammy in the pre-telecast presentations. Taylor along with co-writers John Paul White and Joy Williams won the Grammy for Song Written for Visual Media for their song "Safe & Sound" (from "Hunger Games").
