
The nominees for the 40th Anniversary American Music Awards were announced this morning (10/9). Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan both received two nominations to lead the country nominees.
This year none of the country artists received nominations in the all-genre categories. The country names were only under the country categories. Lionel Richie also appears in the category for Favorite Album- Country for his ‘Tuskegee’ album. The album is a collection of his hit songs performed as duets by himself and country artists.
The awards will be handed out on the live broadcast of the 40th Anniversary American Music Awards show November 18th on the ABC TV network.
The winners will be determined by online voting. You can cast your votes in the categories starting today at AMAVote.com and AMA.abc.com.
