The staff at Busch Stadium were up early this morning getting ready for game 3 of the NLCS. The Cardinals’ official Twitter account posted the picture above this morning along with the message: “Too excited to sleep, Fredbird arrived at the stadium early in preparation for Game 3. #12in12.”

Game 3 of the NLCS between the Cardinals and Giants gets started at 3 p.m. central time today.

Over on the American League side, the Detroit Tigers could clinch a trip to the World Series tonight. The Tigers lead the series by 3 games to 0 over the New York Yankees.
