The new project, which Brad acted as producer on, sold 100,000 copies in the first week of release according to Nielsen SoundScan. It is the lowest first week sales for Brad since he released his album “Mud On The Tires” in 2003 according to Billboard.
The 100,000 in sales is enough to debut “Wheelhouse” at the top spot in country album sales for the week. This is the seventh consecutive album that Brad has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country albums chart.
The first week sales fell just short of a top debut on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart by 6,000 copies. Brad has yet to make a #1 debut on the all-genre chart. However, he has debuted in the runner-up spot four times now. That ties Brad with Sheryl Crow for the most #2 albums without a number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

Congratulations to Brad Paisley on “Wheelhouse” debuting at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums sales chart!
