NBC put together an amazing night of music with the final three on 'The Voice' as well as some amazing musical guests. Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott of Team Blake and Nicholas David of Team CeeLo each performed with their respective coaches as well as with some music industry icons.
Cassadee got to perform with her musical idol Avril Lavigne. Terry performed with rock legend Peter Frampton. Then there was Nicholas David who shared a stage with the one and only Smokey Robinson. In addition to other special performances from stars like of Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars and more; several of the season three contestants of "The Voice' were invited back to perform with the three finalists.
In the end, it came down to the announcement of which of the final three would be named "The Voice" for season three. The announcement that Nicholas David placed third in the final voting was made to begin with. That meant Blake Shelton would make a repeat as the winning coach on 'The Voice' after Team Blake won season two with Jermaine Paul. The only question left was would it be Terry or Cassadee that would win it all?
Obviously by reading the title of this post you know it was Cassadee Pope who was crowned the winner of season three of 'The Voice' with Terry McDermott finishing right behind her in second place. I agree with what the coaches have all said about the final three (and even several who didn't make the final three) on 'The Voice.' Regardless of Cassadee being named the winner, Terry and Nichoals' lifes and careers will take off on a whole new path to success following their time on 'The Voice.' They should both be very proud of what they accomplished on the show.
Congratulations to Blake Shelotn and Cassadee Pope for being the winning team on season three of 'The Voice'!
