Blake Shelton has been getting some bad publicity for the Old Farts comment that the legendary Ray Price took offense to, but that hasn’t changed the mind of U.S Army's Brendan Marrocco. He lost all four of his limbs when his armored vehicle was bombed in Iraq.

It was six weeks ago that Brendan was the first recipient of a double arm transplant and he said the first person whose hand he would like to shake is Blake Shelton. When Blake got word he took to his twitter page with a message for Brendan;

I can’t WAIT to shake the hand of an American Hero/Stud… You my brother…

Brendan tweeted back to Blake that he was looking forward to it. This makes my day when I read stories like this it shows the true human side of our favorite country stars. I hope cameras are there when it happens.
