Cassadee Pope won season three of "The Voice" with coach Blake Shelton. Now it appears she'll follow in Blake's boots by signing with a county record label.

Cassadee (front row, center above) covered both country music and pop music during her time on "The Voice." She seemed to be more pop-rock in her personal style and desire for her career though. In fact, she got the chance to sing with one of her musical heroes Avril Lavigne on the NBC TV show. However, Cassaddee's biggest success came after doing country congs on the show.

Cassadee shot ot the number one spot on the iTunes chart after her performance the Miranda Lambert hit "Over You" which was written by her coach Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda. She had similiar success with her perfomance of the Keith Urban hit "Stupid Boy." Cassadde also had stand-out performances of country songs by Rascal Flatts and Faith Hill. Apparently that success and perhaps her admiration (and a little advice) from her country star coach Blake has led Cassadee to sign with a Nashville country record label.

The Big Machine Label Group's Republic Nashville announced today (1/17) that Cassadee Pope has joined their roster of acts that include Martina McBride, The Band Perry and Florida Georgia Line to name a few.

"I am so excited to be joining the very talented Republic Nashville family. I am so passionate about my music and I couldn't be more excited to have this amazing team to back me as I embark on this next chapter in my career," Cassadee said. She also posted on her Twitter account: "Happy to announce I've officially been signed to Universal Republic Nashville! Feels good to be a part of @BigMachine!"

Big Machine Label Group President Scott Borchetta (pictured above, front row on left end) said: "Cassadee was a standout from day one and once she delivered her incredible version of Miranda Lambert's “Over You,” I started working over my NY label partner Monte Lipman (CEO of Republic Records) to try to convince him that Cassadee belonged in Nashville." Now that Cassadee HAS come to Nashville, Scott says: "After she won we were THRILLED to find out that Cassadee was on the same page with us and wanted to come to Nashville. The BMLG Team is over the top excited about Cassadee Pope!"

As a fan of "The Voice," a fan of Cassadee and a country radio DJ, I can't wait to hear what Cassadee Pope and Republic Nashville create together and sends to us. Just one request to them, make it SOON!
