Toby Keith made his concert very special to the wife of an American soldier with a very touching and amazing surprise in Houston, Texas.

Toby was in Houston September 8th for a stop on his ‘Live In Overdrive Tour.’ Before the concert, Toby met the young wife during his meet-n-greet according to Country Weekly. When the time came for Toby to perform his salute to the American military during the show, he brought the young lady up on stage with him. The young woman revealed that her husband, Major Pete Cruz was serving in Afghanistan.

With the wife of a soldier standing next to him, Toby gave a very poignant and moving performance of his hit song and salute to the military ‘American Soldier.’ If that weren’t enough to make the eyes of the audience tear up, what happened next would without a doubt.

The band began to play another song and Toby’s guitar was brought out to him on stage by none other than Major Pete Cruz. Major Cruz had returned from Afghanistan and Toby helped to surprise his wife right there on stage at his concert!
