Just a week after blind auditions began, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green have announced they are leaving The Voice at the end of this season. Who will replace them?
Christina is taking time off from the show to promote and tour her new album “Lotus,” and Cee-Lo is going to take a completely different direction and focus on starring and executive producing a comedy for NBC loosely based on his real-life relationship with his ex-wife and kids.
In the past, Blake Shelton was The Voice coach to complain the most about juggling his TV and music career, but it’s Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green who will not be returning to the show next season. Usher and Shakira will replace Aguilera and Green as mentors on the show, joining Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on the judges’ panel. Don't worry, it's just for one season...Christina and Cee-Lo have promised to be back by season 5.
