Piano Sonata/Sonatina

Does your child play the piano? Are you a piano teacher? Bloomington-Normal Music Teachers Association (BNMTA) is hosting our second annual Piano Sonata/Sonatina Festival on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 9:00am to approximately noon. The event will be held in Presser Hall on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University, and is open to students of all ages and levels. Students who wish to perform must have at least 12 months of piano lessons and permission from both parent and teacher to enroll. No audition is necessary – everyone who registers will perform!

Each student will be given written feedback from the judges. A recital featuring first place winners from levels five and above will be held in Westbrook Auditorium in Presser Hall at Illinois Wesleyan University immediately following completion of all levels. For further information including a list of repertoire, governing rules, and registration form, please visit the BNMTA website: bnmta.org. The deadline for entry is November 8th, 2019.
