Dia de los Muertos

Día de los Muertos returns to the McLean County Museum of History on Saturday, October 26 from 1:15 to 4:30 p.m. Join in our community celebration with music and dance from local performers. Hear from community members who will share the history and meaning of the holiday, and the variety of ways that it is celebrated. Enjoy delicious refreshments and activities for all ages—including face painting, storytelling, and crafts! Don’t forget to bring a photo of a loved one who has passed to add to the community ofrenda. This free event is made possible through a partnership between the McLean County Museum of History, Western Avenue Community Center, and Conexiones Latinas de McLean County.
