I’ve been working on the radio in Bloomington-Normal for more than 20-years.
December 26, 1992 I was lucky enough to work a live broadcast that started at Midnight from Country Nights, the country bar in Downtown Bloomington at that time, and we launched B-104.
It’s been an exciting run to watch the station start from nothing to grow into the most listened to radio station in the area, and for that I thank you!

Dierks Bentley has landed an ad campaign he calls ``the pinnacle for a dude that likes to drink beer.'' He's the newest addition to Anheuser Busch's ``Real Men of Genius'' campaign. The spot begins by saying, ``Today we salute you, Dierks Bentley, Mr. Sad Country Song Songwriter.'' It begins to air nationally this month. Bentley laughingly says ``I've had to nurse a lot of hangovers over the years to reach this status.'' Bentley, whose tour is sponsored by Anheuser-Busch's Bud Light, says he's honored to be on the same list as ``Mr. Restroom Toilet Refiller'' and ``Mr. Push Up Bra Inventor.''
