Thomas Rhett and his family love Christmas time and their traditions both new and old.

The country music singer-songwriter spends a lot of his time on the road touring through the year. The time he gets to spend at home with his family during Christmas time is very precious to him. Thomas Rhett loves the traditions they share each year during the holidays.

“We always watch The Santa Clause at least a thousand times before Christmas actually gets there. And we still kind of celebrate Christmas five or six days after Christmas, as well because we’re not ready for it to end. And we always decorate our house and we love Christmas. It’s our favorite time of the year,” he shares.

Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren have some traditions they stick to every year. However, as their daughters (4-year-old Willa Gray and 2-year-old Ada James) get older he looks forward to some new traditions that might come along.

“As our kids get older, hopefully they can help us make some new traditions,” He states. “I think a lot of them are gonna be stemmed on traditions that we grew up having, like, whether it’s opening one gift on Christmas Eve or always getting new ornaments for the Christmas tree or making sure the Christmas tree is always real is something that Lauren is dead set on. And I wish we could get a fake one, but you know, we’re gonna get a real one for forever probably.”

Thomas Rhett and his family may have a life quite different from most of us because of what daddy does for a job. But, when it comes down to the Christmas they are just like the rest of us at the basic core of the holiday. It is a time for family and friends to grow closer together.

What is your favorite Christmas tradition each year?
