What a week Luke Combs is having! His new album and latest single both are at number one on the Billboard charts!

If we want to be more accurate, what a CAREER Luke Combs is having!

Luke’s sophomore album What You See Is What You Get debuts at #1 on the Billboard Country Album sales chart. That is the second number one album out of two released. Even bigger the album debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart simultaneously! It’s Luke first topper on that chart.

Billboard.com also reports the project sold 172,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the first week of release. It marks the biggest week for a country album in over a year. It garnered 74 million on-demand audio streams for the album’s 17 tracks, the biggest streaming week ever for a country album.

The second single from the album “Even Though I’m Leaving” is the #1 song for this week according to the advance release of the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart. This makes seven consecutive chart topping singles out of seven released by Luke!

He made history becoming the first country artist to reach number one with his first six singles released when “Beer Never Broke My Heart” topped the chart. “Even Though I’m Leaving” now extends that streak to seven.

Last week Luke took home the CMA Awards for Song of the Year for “Beautiful Crazy” and Male Vocalist of the Year. It’s been a GREAT week for Luke Combs!
