Old Dominion will drop their self-titled third studio album tomorrow. The band says they tried to make timeless music for this album.

“We tried to make music that drew on every influence we’ve ever had as a musician. And, I think the first two albums we tried to make music that was catchy and could be on the radio … and this time we just tried to make great music that we loved that would stand the test of time,” states the band’s Trevor Rosen.

The subject matter in the songs on the album runs the gamut of life.

Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey shares, “It takes little tidbits of everyone’s life that you can relate to. There’s the happy times and there’s the not happy times. And there’s an element, I think, to this album that can kinda say, ‘It’s okay to not be okay,’ you know. That everyone feels this way and that’s alright.”

The album has already produced the #1 single “Make It Sweet.” The second single from the project “One Man Band” is in the top 10 and climbing.

The new, self-titled album from Old Dominion will be available digitally and in music stores everywhere tomorrow, October 25th.

Listen for both singles from the new, self-titled Old Dominion album (and all of the hits from the band) on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104!
