Blake Shelton paired two really good country music singers in the Battle Rounds for season 17 on The Voice. It left him with a really tough decision for Team Blake.

24-year-old Cory Jackson and 28-year-old Zach Bridges are both very good singers. They have a sound that could easily be played on country radio today.

Blake gave the two “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” by Toby Keith for the Battle Rounds performance together. This battle was really an even draw in my view.

The problem for Blake is that he already used his “Save” and none of the other three coaches had a “Steal” left. That meant one of these two would be off the show.

Blake decided to keep Zach on Team Blake moving on in the competition. I don’t think there was a wrong choice to make her for Blake … other than putting the two against each other therefore sending one of them home.

Monday, October 28th starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) the Battle Rounds conclude on The Voice Season 17 and the Knockout Rounds begin on NBC. Taylor Swift will serve as the Mega-Mentor for all the teams during the Knockout Rounds this season.
