Johnson & Johnson Recalls single batch of Baby Powder after Asbestos traces found

Johnson & Johnson is recalling bottles of baby powder after the FDA found them to contain small traces of asbestos.

The company is recalling about 33,000 bottles that shipped last year as part of Lot #22318RB, out of an “abundance of caution”. Read the Johnson & Johnson’s press release about the recall here.

Johnson & Johnson is currently facing thousands of lawsuits from people claiming they developed cancer linked to asbestos exposure after using its talc-based products.
