George Strait has made Billboard and Country Music History proving again he is STILL the King of Country Music!

George’s latest single “The Weight of the Badge” hit the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart at #56 this week. Billboard.com reports that song becomes the 100th song to hit that chart from him. It makes George the first artists to hit that milestone on the chart since its inception in 1990.

King George is no stranger to making history and setting records. He has the record for the most #1 albums on the Billboard Country Albums sales chart. George’s latest album Honky Tonk Time Machine extended that record to 27 chart topping albums when it was released. It is also the album that his history making single is featured on. The album is available everywhere now.
