Justin Moore doesn’t read the comments about his music on social media because he says he’s “too fragile.”

Justin just released a new album titled Late Nights And Longnecks. The album features the debut single “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home.” The single is in the top five this week on the charts for country radio airplay. Many fans have posted messages on social media with glowing reviews of the project. However, it’s not likely Justin has seen them. He avoids reading social media comments about his music.

“I used to and it would drive me crazy,” Justin explains, “because there’d be a hundred positive ones and then one bad one, and then it just sends me into a tailspin. I’m too fragile for that, I guess. So, I really don’t.”

Justin has what he knows are un-realistic goals when he makes music and that also deters him from reading social media.

“I’m hopeful that every single person loves my music, which I know is not a possibility,” he admits. “So, that being said, I don’t really make music for anybody other than myself. I’m hopeful that fans can relate to it, but I just kinda always make albums for me and kind of let the chips fall where they may. But if I were to start reading critics and all that stuff it would drive me nuts.”

Late Nights And Longnecks by Justin Moore is available everywhere now. Feel free to post your thoughts about the album on social media.

Fortunately, Justin has plenty of people around him who can make sure he sees certain comments or messages from fans. That way he doesn’t have to wade through the good, bad and the ugly.
