This Sunday (6/16) is Father’s Day. What is the biggest dad-ism and dad joke you remember your father saying?

We all heard them growing up. They made us roll our eyes. They made us mad. Sometimes they made us think. They are the sayings that dads use around the world.

“When I was your age…”

“Go ask your mother.” or “Don’t tell your mother.”

“Were you raised in a barn?”

“As long as you live under my roof you will follow my rules.”

“Do you think I am made of money?”

When it comes to the jokes dads tell, well they were sometimes funny when you were under the age of seven. However, as you got older they became less funny.

“Pull my finger.”

KID: “Dad, make me a sandwich!” DAD: “Poof, you’re a sandwich!”

KID: “Hey, I was thinking…” DAD: “I thought I smelled something burning.”

“Two guys walk into a bar, the third one ducks.”

When you ask a dad if they got a haircut: “No, I got them all cut!”

Yeah, we’ve heard them all and yet we love dear old dad anyway! What was your dad’s favorite saying or dad joke growing up? Share it on our Facebook page by clicking here.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there and thanks for all you did for us!
