HERE WE GO!!!! Star Wars Episode IX (9) officially has the title AND our first trailer! During The Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, Director J.J. Abrams debuted the trailer to 1,000’s of fans. Let’s dive into the trailer!

First off…WOW! The Rise of Skywalker! Does that title only mean that Luke is coming back? And what is up with Emperor Palpatine’s laugh at the end??  Fun little nugget, Ian McDiarmid made a special appearance at Star Wars Celebration after the trailer debut. So he will have a BIG part of this movie for sure!
