Talk about testing the “all pets are welcome” policy at PetSmart! I bet they never expected that somebody would bring a camel to the store!!

The national pet store allows owners to bring their pets into the store with them as long as they are on a leash. A trainer in Michigan put that policy to the test when he put a leash on a camel named “Jeffery” and headed to the store for an adventure.

The camel is from the Lewis Farms & Petting Zoo n Muskegon and needed to get weight measurements of Jeffery to know how much vaccine to give him. The petting zoo’s scale was not large enough for the animal, but PetSmart’s apparently is.

The video of the adventure on the Lewis Farms & Petting Zoo Facebook page is going viral. Why wouldn’t it. There are two things that are pretty amazing in it. First, a camel in MICHIGAN. Second, a camel strolling through PetSmart!
