Who knew Aunt Becky was the moral compass Lori Loughlin should have paid more attention to while filming “Full House.” Aunt Becky’s moral compass steered right where Lori Loughlin’s seemed to go left.

Lori Loughlin was one of the 50 people charged in a college admissions scandal this week. She was in Vancouver shooting when FBI showed up to arrest her, but came back to LA upon request and surrendered. She has since been freed on $1 Million bond after appearing in federal court. She is accused of paying $500,000 in exchange for having her two daughters recruited to be a part of the USC crew team even though neither of the girls rowed.

Had Lori Loughlin just learned a thing or two from her character Aunt Becky on “Full House,” maybe she wouldn’t be in this situation after all.

In the episode that aired in 1993, titled “Be True To Your Preschool,” Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse are forced to make a tough decision between wanting what’s best for their children and committing fraud on the preschool application for the twins. Sound familiar? Well the tables have now been reversed for Lori in real life.

In the episode, Uncle Jesse can be heard saying, “The most important thing in the world right now is their education, ” and “I’m their father, if I don’t lie for them, who will?”

Aunt Becky wasn’t having that business, and rejects Jesse’s attempts to lie for the twins, telling him, “I know you want what’s best for them, but you know what? Maybe the fast track isn’t it. I mean, Nicky and Alex are normal and healthy kids, and whatever track they’re on, they seem to be doing OK.”

I couldn’t make this up if I tried. Watch for yourself HERE!

The full episodes of “Full House” are also streaming on Hulu. Check out Season 6, episode 15 if you are curious.
