The 11th Annual B104-Radio Bloomington Radiothon for St. Jude was another huge success because of YOU!
This is the 11th year that B104 and Radio Bloomington has joined together for two days raising awareness and money for the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. That mission is to ensure that no child dies in the dawn of life. It is a HUGE goal that we believe can be reached with the work being done by St. Jude.
We asked you to join the St. Jude Family by becoming a Partner In Hope. The money that you pledged to the fight not only goes to the research that St. Jude does to ultimately end the loss of any child to cancer and other deadly diseases. It also goes to treating those children that are currently fighting these diseases and those who will fight for their lives in the future.
It costs approximately one BILLION dollars a year for St. Jude to do what they do better than anybody in the world. 75% of that cost comes from people just like you that chose to become a part of the St. Jude family. That money benefits families across the country and around the world. However, it also helps many families right here in central Illinois as you heard directly from them over the last couple of days. One of the most amazing things is that St. Jude does not charge families for saving their children. That’s right, NO FAMILY EVER RECEIVES A BILL FROM ST. JUDE. Because of your generosity, St. Jude can say to those parents focus on your child and we will take care of the cost. You have joined with St. Jude and B104 to tell those parents “We Got You!”
