It seems the trend for country music stars is to put their name on a bar as a side business. There are already country music signature bars that include Blake Shelton’s Ole Red, Florida Georgia Line’s FGL House, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen & Rooftop Bar, Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge Food & Drink to name a few.

Thomas Rhett is one of the biggest names in country music these days. Is he thinking about joining the “bar party”?

“I don’t know,” says Thomas. “I think I just want to figure out if we ever do something like that, what is the vibe gonna be, like what kind of food, where’s it gonna be.”

The number of stars with bars is a reason for Thomas to pause on the idea of joining the long list. While he likes the idea of having a side business to his music career, maybe a bar isn’t the right business model for him.

He says, ““Like every artist is opening a bar in Nashville. It’s insane – like literally every artist. And so I would like to do something a little bit unique and see what we could do.”

Right now Thomas Rhett is enjoying celebrating his 12th number one single “Sixteen” and getting set to release a brand new song that will be from his fifth studio album, arriving later this year.
