On Saturday, September 8th join friends and family on the State Farm Corporate South Campus for the 8th annual Race for the Cure here in Bloomington/Normal. Step by step, we’ll race toward the end of breast cancer. Walk or run for your mom, sister, wife, daughter, your friend.

No one walks the breast cancer journey alone, so register yourself and a bring a friend. Click HERE to register you and/or your team or to make a donation.

We Race Because On Any Given Day…

  • 290 Komen-funded research teams located in 33 states including Washington D.C. and 11 countries are working to end breast cancer.
  • More than 100 Komen-funded research labs are studying metastatic breast cancer to understand why it occurs and how to treat it.
  • 11 new strategies to prevent breast cancer are being developed including new drugs, vaccines, diet and other risk reducing behaviors.
  • We continue to Race because in 2018, more than 260,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women and more than 2,500 cases in men in the U.S.

But, when you participate and fund-raise for the Race, we fight these statistics together.  Komen has played a critical role in every major advance in the fight against breast cancer – transforming how the world talks about and treats this disease and helping to turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors. This progress was made with your continued support and together we can reach our vision of a world without breast cancer.
