Blake Shelton is not all that upset that Kelly Clarkson won season 14 of The Voice and we also know when the two will begin to battle again to win season 15 of the hit TV show.

Blake has won six of the 14 season’s on the show so far, making him the top coach on the show. He is very competitive in his role on the singing competition. However, when Kelly won in her first season as a coach earlier this year, Blake wasn’t all that upset about it.

The two singer-songwriters have been friends for many years. Kelly is married to Blake’s manager. He always seems to give credit where it is due no matter what the situation.

“I don’t know that any of us put as much over time into it as she did,” Blake admits about Kelly and her first time as a coach on The Voice.

Kelly appears to be what Blake has been reported to be to his contestants on his team on The Voice, a friend and mentor even after the show is over.

“CMA Fest week I saw her at the CMT Awards walking around backstage with one of her contestants from this season,” Blake shares, “She was showing ’em around backstage and she’s the real deal.”

Blake, Kelly and Adam Levine will return as coaches for season 15 along with returning coach Jennifer Hudson. The show revealed the date of the season 15 premier on social media yesterday (6/20)…

It will be interesting to see what dynamic develops between the coaches now that all four have experience in the red chairs when The Voice Season 15 premiers September 24th.
