In-Car Audio from NASCAR’s STP 500 at Martinsville

Since the drivers and teams have Easter weekend off this week, here’s some in-car audio from last Monday’s snow-delayed STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway for a little NASCAR fix for you.

There have been six races so far in the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season. We have seen four different drivers in Victory Lane during those races.

Austin Dillon won the 2018 Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway to start the season.

Kevin Harvick then clicked off three wins in a row for the first time in his career with victories in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the TicketGuardian 500 at ISM Raceway in Phoenix.

Defending NASCAR Cup Series Champion Martin Truex Jr. was able to capture the checkered flag in the Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.

Last weekend’s STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway was postponed from Sunday (3/25) to Monday (3/26) due to snow at the track. It was Clint Bowyer driving to victory in the “Snow Day Race” in NASCAR’s top division.

While there was only one caution period due to an accident on the track during that race that doesn’t mean that the scanners didn’t pick up some interesting audio during the 500 lap race from drivers and teams. Hear that audio in the in-car audio video from NASCAR at the top of the page.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will get back on the track for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway Sunday, April 8th.
