********************************************************************************************

The Bloomington Police Department and B104 want to Thank You for helping make the 14th Annual Cop On Top a success by donating over $10,000 to the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois!

We want to thank Dunkin’ Donuts on East Oakland in Bloomington for again lending us the use of their roof for this event.

Bloomington Police’s Sergeant Todd Keil and Officer Bill Wright again climbed up to the roof of Dunkin’ Donuts today (6/8) at 6am with B104 personalities joining them through the day and broadcasting from up on the roof until 6pm. All day people stopped by and donated money as well as  bid on auction items throughout the day with all the money going to Special Olympics Illinois through the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run.

When the officers and B104 personalities came down from the roof over $10,000 had been raised! There is still change to be counted and some last minute donations that came into be counted. So, we will update to total tomorrow when we get it. However, the event was one again a HUGE success!

Thank you to everybody who donated or helped in any way to make the 2016 Cop On Top with the Bloomington Police Department for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics a success once again with Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104!
