You heard it was happening, now you can SEE it for yourself…A new trailer for The Angry Birds Movie gives fans a first look at Blake Shelton’s character “Earl”.
Back in December Blake was bursting at the seems to let fans know the news on Twitter…

And now we finally have a 30 second clip so we can see Earl, the “country-fied” pig that Blake is so proud of, in fact Earl also comes complete with Blake’s very identifiable arm tattoo. While Earl definitely sounds like Blake, it’s hard not to notice a bit more “Dukes of Hazzard” added to his voice because producers kept telling Blake they needed “More Country!”
The 30 second teaser video is set to Blake’s song “Friends” which he wrote specifically for the Angry Birds movie. It will be released on iTunes on May 6th, while the movie, which also features Jason Sudeikis, Maya Rudolph, Peter Dinklage, and Josh Gad will be in theatres May 20th. That is the same day Blake will also release his new album If I’m Honest which will also include “Friends” and 14 other songs.
