Last night (4/27) the top 8 on “The Voice” season eight performed hoping to advance to next week’s live shows and keep their dreams of winning alive.

Last week the iTunes charts were accurate on predicting the bottom three. Where are the top 8 from “The Voice” on iTunes this week and will that predict the bottom three artists again?

I looked at the iTunes all-genre chart at 8:37 AM central time and this is where the artists were on that chart at that time:

#2 – Sawyer Fredricks
“Simple Man”

{Team Pharrell}
#7 – Joshua Davis
“Fields of Gold”

{Team Adam}
#12 – Kimberly Nichole

{Team XTina}
#25 – Corey Kent White
“When I See You Smile”

{Team Blake}
#27 – Meghan Linsey

{Team Blake}
#29 – India Carney
“Over The Rainbow”

{Team XTina}
#37 – Koryn Hawthorne
“Girl On Fire”

{Team Pharrell}
#45 – Hannah Kirby
“We Don’t Need Another Hero”

{Team Blake}

IF this predicts the bottom three, tonight on the live results show it will be coaches Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera asking America to give their artist the Twitter Save to stay in the competition.

However, as I have pointed out before, there are other forms of voting that the iTunes sales do not reflect. Additionally there are still more than two hours for even these iTunes numbers to change since all sales up to 11 AM central time today (4/28) count as votes.

We will all have to tune in tonight at 7 PM central time for the live results show on season eight of “The Voice” to find out which three artists will be singing for the Twitter Save; which ONE gets it and which two go home as the top six will be revealed.

In the meantime, below are videos from last night’s show of Blake Shelton performing his current single “Sangria,” the top 8 performing together and Matt McAndrew (season seven runner-up) performing his new single “Counting on Love.”
