Chicago Bears Hire Ryan Pace as New General Manager

The Chicago Bears have hired a new General Manager. His name is Ryan Pace and he has spent the past 14 seasons with the New Orleans Saints.

ChicagoBears.com reports that Pace has been the director of player personnel for the past two years. He has also served as operations assistant (2001), scouting assistant (2002-03), pro scout (2004-06) and director of pro scouting (2007-12).

Pace beat out Chiefs director of player personnel Chris Ballard, Texans director of pro personnel Brian Gaine and Titans vice-president of player personnel Lake Dawson for the GM position in Chicago.

Pace will now need to get busy searching out the next head coach for the Chicago Bears.
